So my samsung glyde I got back in august of 2008 was having problems. The touch screen wasnt accurit so fifty percent of the time I couldnt make calls. It was really getting annoying and I had had it. I knew I had to do something because it was becoming a really big problem.
Phones problems:
Touch screen would unlock too easy.
The touchscreen would mess up.
Bluetooth wasnt reliable.
Keypads were to small for the screen.
Menus were ugly.
So when I took it back they said. here, we will get you a new version
I was so excited. All my contacts were transferd over for free it was very nice. And all the problems were addressed. The phone got a whole new hardware as well as software update.
Fixes:
The touchscreen has a new drag to unlock feature, not just tap.
The touchscreen just works.
Bluetooth is stable.
Keypads are larger.
Menus are pretty and useful.
Overall I was happy with the trip and I am glad we got it replaced.
UPDATE:
That was the first time. I took it back 2 more times! I kept stop working all together. So I got a free env2! 
The only problem was I couldnt transfer my contacts.
